Reem Saeid LAC | Clinician
I am a first-generation Arab Muslim American therapist. My name is Reem Saeid. I offer bilingual counseling in both English and Arabic. My work focuses on women, mothers, and individuals from marginalized communities.
Many of my clients are navigating deep challenges. These may include sexual or spiritual abuse, domestic violence, or religious trauma. My goal is to create a supportive and culturally sensitive space for you. Here, you can explore your experiences while honoring your faith, identity, and cultural background. I also support those struggling with anxiety, depression, and the emotional weight of difficult life events.
As a daughter of immigrants, I understand the unique pressures of immigrant families. I especially enjoy supporting daughters of immigrant parents. We work together through identity, family dynamics, and personal growth. My approach is compassionate and collaborative. I ensure therapy feels meaningful and respectful of your lived experience.
I am trained in Traditional Islamically Integrated Psychotherapy (TIIP), Levels I and II. This approach merges Islamic spiritual principles with evidence-based psychology. This framework allows us to thoughtfully incorporate faith when it matters to you. We can explore your healing through a spiritual lens at your own pace.
I also work with parents seeking practical tools to support their children. My background as a teacher and school social worker provides valuable insight. I understand the challenges families face at home and within the school system.
Clients often describe me as compassionate, genuine, and straightforward. In our sessions, I am both supportive and honest. I help you make sense of your experiences while offering clear insights. Together, we will build healthier coping strategies and new skills. My goal is to help you navigate life with greater confidence and clarity.
I believe therapy is a powerful space for reflection and growth. If you are looking for culturally responsive support, I invite you to reach out. I would be honored to support you on your journey toward well-being.
